The Villa Raimondo is located between Etna and the sea just a few miles from the centre of Taormina . The villa is an oasis of beauty and style. The building itself is a manor house from the late 19th century , tinted red with volcanic clay and richly furnished with antiques .
In the mean time the house is equipped with modern bathrooms, air conditioning and central heating . The large garden with lush lawns and a spectacular pool with border in lava stone together with the position (countryside of Taormina) make the property unique in his kind .
INSIDE: A double bedroom with en-suite bathrooms , one double bedroom up a 19th century spiral staircase with views of Etna and a bathroom on the ground floor , two single bedrooms sharing a bathroom , large sitting room with fireplace , smaller sitting room with fireplace , dining room, study and a large fully equipped kitchen .
Larger parties may take in addition an independent suite in the garden a few meters from the house with double bed , sitting area , bathroom and kitchen annex .
The bedrooms , the kitchen and the suite all have air conditioning .
The house is furnished with antiques (19th century) .
OUTSIDE: The house opens out into a cool , furnished gazebo overlooking the lush lawn .
the garden has a rich variety of aromatic plants including laurel , camphor , lavender , and hibiscus , daturas , palms , ficus , and centuries old olive trees .
Meals can be taken on the lawn in the shade of large umbrellas when the weather is fine .
The pool has a spectacular view of Etna and the surrounding countryside .
The owner will stay in the suite in the garden when it is not taken , or in a nearby property when it is .
