            Residence Pindaro - ( 2 sleeps ) Residence Pindaro. Villa Vacation for holiday rentals in Taormina. The Residence consists of five cottages, previously small farm buildings. They have been completely refurbished and equipped with every possible convenience. They are strategically located for whoever wishes to visit this particular area of Eastern Sicily.
The estate is situated in the centre of an extensive cultivation of citrus fruit and olive groves, only few minutes from the sea (Isola Bella, Mazzarò, Giardini Naxos and Taormina).
The proprietor of the estate, has taken great pains to preserve the place's historical integrity during the restoration work and refurbishing of the old farm buildings. Meanwhile, the view on Mount Etna and the vicinity of the sea contribute to making the Residence an enchanted place.
Each cottage has its own individual patio with cane covering and creepers to have meals, read and meditate, equipped with outdoor seats and table. The peace and quiet of the estate grounds encourages you to relax completely and enjoy the balmy warmth of the Sicilian climate in close contact with nature.
A spectacular pool with Mediterranean gazebo, solarium and flower garden ( the whole exclusive area is covering 5000 square metres) is available for guests in the lemongrove 30 metres distant from the cottages.
There are 5 cottages from an old farmstead adjacent but detached. Each cottage is furnished in a uniquely individual manner.
All cottages look onto the garden and lemongrove and the privacy is assured by a barrer of oleanders and bamboo canes between one cottage and the next.
There are three 50 sq.m. cottages and two larger cottages, one of about 100 sq.m. and the other of about 75 sq.m.
THE 100 SQ.M. COTTAGE CAN ACCOMMODATE MAX 4 ADULTS AND 4 CHILDREN
It consists of :
2 double bedrooms with their own bath with shower, a sitting room with a small mezzanine with 2 beds for children 5/16, a kitchen-dining room (new !) with a small mezzanine with 2 beds for children 5/16, an exclusive patio with cane covering and creepers (9x9m.), an exclusive garden (9x9m.).
THE 75 SQ.M. COTTAGE CAN ACCOMMODATE MAX 4 ADULTS AND 2 CHILDREN.
It consists of :
2 double bedrooms with their own bath with shower, a sitting room with a small mezzanine with 2 beds for children 5/16, a kitchen corner, an exclusive patio with cane covering and creepers (9x9m.), an exclusive garden (9x9m.).
THE 50 SQ.M. COTTAGES CAN ACCOMMODATE MAX 2 ADULTS AND 2 CHILDREN EACH ONE.
Each one consists of :
1 double bedroom, a bath with shower, a sitting room with a small mezzanine with 2 beds for children 5/16, a kitchen corner, an exclusive patio with cane covering and creepers (5x5m.), an exclusive garden (5x5m.).
All rooms are equipped with air conditioning units that can be individually regulated and provide both hot or cold air.
Each cottage is equipped with its own cooking area, with working surfaces in marble, built in units and cupboards with cutlery for four people.
Extra bamboo armchairs and garden tables are available. The furnishings are all of the most excellent quality and are mainly of Sicilian-Mediterranean inspiration, both the furniture itself, which is of 19th century Sicilian origin, and the tiling, which was made in Santo Stefano di Camastra, the original capital of Sicilian ceramics.
The floors are done in old terra cotta tiles and the roofing with Sicilian bamboo canes, as were the old farmhouses in the past.
The cluster of cottages is surrounded by the green of the citrus fruit, olive groves and vineyards of the property that has belonged to generation after generation (one of the most illustrious families of the Sicilian aristocracy).

The sea is a mere 2 kilometres away from the estate and a list of the nearby beaches will be supplied to guests. Meanwhile, the estate grounds are also ideal for country walks, as it extents over acres and acres of land.
Citrus fruits, olive oil and wine, as well as jam and eggs are all farm products and can be purchased on request by guests at the cottages.
The family business has also reached an agreement with a number of local restaurants and pizzerie, who have agreed to provide special rates for cottage guests. A list of addresses is available. Guests can also choose to avail of a catering service that arranges to deliver a selection of traditional local dishes to their cottage (only groups).
Excursions to Mount Etna, the Agrò Valley and the Gorges of Alcantara can be organized, as well as to the towns of Siracusa and Noto. These can be arranged either for individual guests or small groups.
For those of our guests who are wine lovers, visits to the local wineries, which produce many of the world-famous Sicilian wines (Benanti, Cottanera and Murgo on Mount Etna, Regaleali, Corvo, including a number of others in Western Sicily, can be arranged.
